What is Vermicast Solution

It is quite simply the most excellent fertiliser produced by nature. What passes through a worm is deposited as the purest fertiliser. The difficulty of broadcasting this is expensive. Along came BLD with a very simple method of extracting all the goodness and putting this into aneasily applied solution.

The Composting Process

"Vermicompost is the product of composting. It utilizes various species of worms, usally red worm, to create a heterogeneous mixture of decomposing vegetable or food waste, bedding materials, and vermicast. Vermicast, also known as worm castings or worm humus is the end-product of the breakdown of organic matter by a species of earthworm. Containing water-soluble nutrientss, vermicompost is a nutrient-rich organic fertilizer and soil conditioner."
